After the placement of the implants, my husband regained his confidence!

My husband is a patient of EO Dent Dental Clinics because he participates in the Better Quality of Life for Our Parents programme. We were included in that programme – I have no words to describe it! From then on I took to heart the whole team and those two people who give their hearts, time, powers, nerves – for the smile of their patients, to bring joy back to them because teeth are incredibly important. What they did in this campaign – helping these people who had never thought that they would be able to feel this joy again – to see their beautiful smiles, to eat without trouble, is simple incredible! Right now my husband feels like a newly-wed! They gave him back him his self-confidence – he eats properly again. This is priceless! His good mood has returned. I will even share with you that this smile causes astonishment and envy in many young people! I told him ‘I want you to shoot a commercial for EO Dent – how you bite into an apple. The doctors Pavlov are doing something really incredible! In addition to beauty and the ability to smile without anxiety, healthy teeth lead also to proper eating, otherwise your whole organism might collapse.

I want to thank those people for their dedication and capabilities. They have created the clinic, probably after many deprivations, and lots of stress but they are always so cordial, energetic, young. Let us not forget the entire team as well, they are charming, probably because they all go to the dentist at EO Dent.

Did you feel something during the operation back then?

 

“I was sensing that Dr. Pavlov was doing something to me but the anaesthesia is such that you don’t go fall fully asleep. You experience some really pleasant moments which is weird. I could hear what he was saying to me, I was feeling no pain whatsoever and to top it off, the feeling was pleasant. After that I even asked Dr. Pavlov whether the anaesthesiologist wouldn’t give me a bit of this anaesthetic to take home… (laughs). After this anaesthetic and after the placement of two implants, this was in May, I remember it very well, I went to my garden and planted 40 tomato plants.”

And when you began eating, did you feel any discomfort after all?

“No. Two or three months before that he placed the implants in my gum which is also not scary at all. I thought it would be horrible to have your bone cut and to have some screws placed but I didn’t feel anything then either. And after the placement of the implants, I immediately went back home – maybe an hour or two passed – and immediately started eating. ”

Does a person’s life change after such an intervention?

“Of course it does. You start eating in a much more healthy fashion because you chew the food much better. Two teeth were missing on the one side of my mouth. That was because in the past I was afraid to go to the dentist and allowed the teeth to be extracted. I couldn’t chew on that side, I always chewed on the other side. ”

Why did we not pay attention to our teeth in the past?

“Because I had been scared of the dentist ever I since I was at school – scared of that horrible drill – it could grind your brain – no anaesthetic, nothing… Nerve extraction – a horror! That’s why a great number of people used to not go to the dentist. Now things have changed. The dentists’ attitude is incredible – they are very careful, gentle – to avoid causing you pain. And of course, the technological progress is also a big factor.

Teeth are something very important. Young people understand it – both boys and girls became somehow vainer. In the past we did not pay such attention to the smile, to the teeth, to having the tartar removed. Dentists motivate us. ”

If you have to play the character of Dr. Pavlova in a play, what traits would you add to it?

“I have nothing to add because she is the embodiment of a woman, of a professional. Not only does she work but she has two children and travels all the time. Both she and Dr. Pavlov do a lot of good for the people. She is such a positive character that I really have nothing to add. The fact that they provide free dental services for many disadvantaged children, who does that today? The state doesn’t care about these children. So – I wonder how she manages – she cooks, she is a mother and a doctor! You have to have a really big heart. ”

Is there – I will quote a famous phrase of yours “and something more” in this clinic? I know that you have refused to use the phrase before a notary. That’s why I am saying it.

(Laughs) …In this clinic, there is everything – good attitude, well-intentioned people, good specialists, incredible professionals. I have the feeling that this is a shuttle crew. They are all so united, they love each other. The atmosphere is so pleasant – as soon as you enter there are amiable, cool people welcoming you.

And the captains of the ship are… Dr. Pavlova and Dr. Pavlov. There is no autopilot. They lead the crew and the shuttle with confidence. As I said on Dr. Pavlov’s birthday. Years after I die, there will be an excavation. They will find me, see my implants and exclaim ‘This is the work of Dr. Pavlov”! Because the implants remain.

Right after Dr. Pavlov had my implants placed, I went to my garden and planted 40 tomato plants.

I have for the first time a kind of intervention where you are half conscious. I think that everything went great. I went home on my own and I am really pleased because I didn’t expect the procedure to be made so easy. I felt no pain whatsoever, it was perfect. I want to express my great gratitude for the attitude which exists in the clinic and not just towards me but to the other people with whom I have talked to and who use your services.

In addition to that, I also want to express my gratitude for the fact that you do charity work and help many people. What I wish for you is mostly to be healthy and to keep helping people in need.

Yordan Yovchev is the most successful Bulgarian gymnast. He participated in six consecutive Olympic Games from 1992 to 2012. That way he became the first gymnast to participate in six Olympic Games in the history of gymnastics. In his career he has four Olympic medals – one silver and three bronze. I have been working at a television channel for ten years. This is a job which I love. To be good at what you do… you have to be very sensitive, to be well read, to be careful of the purity of your inner world.

If you participate in a dialogue – to look people in the eyes, to listen to them very carefully. Because people want to be heard. They crave a careful interlocutor who has time for them. To listen to them. And if you laugh a bit together after that, then you have a bond. Thanks to the laughter. By sharing the laughter. The experience is between the two of you, never mind that many people watch it on their screens.

These are intimate interactions intended to be seen by lots of people. Shared pauses for looking inwards.

I didn’t realize that before, maybe because of my internal uncontrolled chasms but I began to understand it… when time no longer has a meaning in a given dialogue, then it remains in space. It remains and vibrates and lives a life of its own.

I have had many funny moments in that same job. Quite a few paradoxical videos. I like paradoxes because it’s on the two poles of perceiving reality.

I have had the feeling that if you are there… on the edge… you see farther. If you laugh, you go higher.  For sure. Because you become lighter. And rise. Metaphorically. And not only.

The best feeling is to make someone laugh sincerely because then you get a glimpse of their soul. And it is good there. I have always loved that feeling. Which is why I understand the people who make all of us smile.

I understand what they experience every time they make someone smile. Sincerely, without thinking, without worrying.

I realized that I was free for that feeling when I met the EO Dent family. I realized it when I cried tears of happiness with my most realized and radiant smile.

And I will never forget that moment when you forced me to SEE myself. Because your brought me a different aspect of self-realization.

And I liked myself and am free.

From the reception desk when you enter to the cleaning ladies (the cleanliness is unbelievable) and the doctors whom I got to know – these people did not leave me with the feeling that they are at work. They look as if they are celebrating something. That is why I am saying that I ended up on a different planet. Bulgarians either try to keep their position at work or fight for positions at work but for the first time I saw Bulgarians happy at work.

The fact that there are so many young people would worry some people – do they have experience? Seems like here are gathered the most smiling dentists, the ones who most love their jobs! And the nurses – what a finesse, what a delicacy! It’s like they have been selected for their beauty, youth, smiles, politeness and good intentions. When you say dentist, you immediately imagine pain, you hear the terrible noise of the machine. Stress, heart in throat, nails dug into the palms – these are my memories from the dentist. Yet here I breathe evenly. Incredible. And that’s not because of the anaesthetics. I haven’t been given an anaesthetic here. The anaesthetic is a personal choice. You can say “I prefer to feel it a bit…”. In their hands I feel safe. ”

You used to fear dentists. Why?

“Because of a bad memory – from my childhood. Inhuman pain. I was not prepared for what the dentist was. I was not prepared by my parents – my mother brought me. They hadn’t told me that maybe there would be pain, there would be scary sounds – the sounds themselves scare the people. There was one dentist… I didn’t know what I would actually die from – from the pain or from having my chest pressed with elbows. I was a small child and yet she lay onto me, thinking that she would work more easily if I weren’t moving. She was going to make my heart stop with pressure. I remember also the pressing inside the tooth with all her strength. I still can’t believe it… When I grew up, I told people about that case: “This person was a fascist, she was enjoying it…”

And after that?

“Over the years I have had magnificent dentists like Dr. Kanazireva – she was the dentist of my mother, of my father, can you imagine that! I realized that in the profession there are good, nice, gentle people who understand our fear. And others – about ten years ago I visited one of the most elite dentist offices, it was run by foreigners. They didn’t ask me if I wanted to breathe or how I preferred they work with me. They filled me with anaesthetics which let go a day after that – huge doses. They pressed me, they hurt my mouth with that aspirator tip. Such human rudeness – for an awful lot of money – I had never seen before. There was no health insurance fund back then. They perceived me as a bad tooth. I am not a bad tooth, I am an unhappy person who has a bad tooth. I want to be treated humanely. What I am saying now is very important.”

You put a lot of importance in humane attitude.

“Yes. Because the praise – of course I want to praise the flowers, the aroma, their vibrant teams – I want to praise everything at EO Dent. But I want to compare them with the rest too. You can be incredibly skilful with your hands, you can be a really good dentist but if you lack a heart then you have no right to call yourself a dentist. Heart is paramount. And the hearts are in the heads. These heads have selected the team – smiling, beautiful young people. And what they do with the sick children… I saw one child going out with his parents, he has bad legs… He had been cared for as if he were in New York, Berlin or London. At EO Dent, care and professional attitude are on a world class level. What they do with the sick children, what I saw – the operating room, the rooms after that, with the parents, in a home environment – so that the child won’t feel stress after the operation… I am speechless.”

I have the feeling that you will tell about this experience many more times, for a long time and to many people.

“I haven’t stopped sharing this experience with my friends. My idea of dentists was turned around. Physicians and dentists are increasingly getting the place in society which they deserve. Ever nicer words are heard about that class of people. Because they are the most important ones for us. We trust them with our parents with our children, we trust them with our lives and health. At least the intelligent people, the people around me, not because of our age, tell each other as friends what professionals we have encountered. The good examples are many more than the bad. But the fantastic movie I entered here… And the equipment. I will tell you something – the investments which are being made in the private dentist’s offices in Bulgaria are huge.

Incredibly expensive equipment. And they progress step by step – today I want to buy an X-Ray machine, tomorrow something else… These people don’t become rich in this life of theirs, they reinvest every lev.

Dentistry is the profession where involving your children too makes the most sense because it’s an enormous investment and it’s not for one human life.”

Hello, I am Angie Kassabie – dietitian, I have worked with many world famous stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Britney Spears, Jason Statham, Robert De Niro, Harrison Ford, Eva Longoria.

I am of Lebanese origin but Bulgarized. I can’t say that I have been raised to be conservative but I do have principles which I follow. My father has taught us to evaluate people based not on what they have but on what they are. He has always thought us that money is nothing more than paper which is used to buy things which keep you alive. I have always dreamt of being Cinderella but without my shoe falling off.

I want to feel glamorous like in a fairytale. In my fairytale there is a prince now – Mister Lebanon 2014 and Mister World 2015. Little by little, my dreams are fulfilled but in my case they don’t end, that’s the problem – I am greedy in regards to dreams.

I remembered these two beautiful phrases when our eyes and hearts met and touched the generosity and the cordial responsiveness of the staff at EO Dent Clinic. I immediately began dreaming of everyone and everything in Bulgaria having that appearance, warmth and affability. When you know what you want from life, you usually achieve it. Especially if you are capricious enough to want the best.

Being a doctor is calling, Radoslav! This was the first thing which made a strong positive impression on me during my conversation with Dr. Veneta Pavlova – I immediately realized that she puts her patients first.  My surprise was mostly caused by the fact that despite all her duties related to managing the business, she has managed to keep her passion and focus on work with patients.

I found the same dedication to the profession of dentist during my meeting with Dr. Valentin Pavlov – a solid authority in the field of oral surgery and implantology and a member of Parliament. I started feeling more comfortable when I found out that he too, despite all his duties, perform surgeries all the time and takes care of people’s health and self-confidence – because the beautiful smile certainly has a positive effect on both.

I started my visits to the clinics of the chain and as a professional I focused on analysis and searching for ways of improving the services and optimisations. I first visited an EO Dent clinic in the Dianabad quarter and right after entering I marvelled at it – everyone was smiling and polite. Every detail from the whole business process is planned in such a way that the patient would feel happy, cared for and satisfied. This is a place where all patients are indeed special. Since early childhood I had been living abroad and usually received medical treatment there.

When I came back to Bulgaria I had to find a suitable dentist and after a long research and recommendations, I chose EO Dent.

Everyone told me that the doctors Pavlov and their team are the best specialists. I have been a patient of EO Dent for about 4-5 years now, both of Dr. Pavlova and of Dr. Pavlov.

From the very beginning, I was really impressed by the fact that the team consists of really good professionals, I am not talking just about the doctors Pavlov but about the entire team. I have an interesting story involving Dr. Pavlov when he had to extract one of my wisdom teeth. I thought there would be an incredible pain, after all I am an athlete and know what it means to experience pain because of the injuries that I have had but in the end, everything was over in about 30 seconds. I couldn’t believe it. For me the most important thing is that at EO Dent when something is done, it’s done properly and there is no need to repeat it! I have brought my entire family and friends here and we are all incredibly pleased because the level of work is really high!

For years now I have been a patient of the doctors Pavlov and EO Dent.

EO Dent’s clinics don’t look like clinics at all, they are a cosy pleasant place.

Pain during the treatment here is unthinkable.

My teeth are natural but everywhere people ask me who put those veneers because the teeth are so well done that they look unnatural.

I have undergone procedures under either Dr. Pavlova and Dr. Pavlov. I even remembered the occasion when Dr. Pavlov had extracted one of my wisdom teeth at the time when I was a member of the jury of the Miss Bulgaria pageant.

On the day before Dr. Pavlov had extracted my wisdom tooth and on the next evening I was scheduled to have pictures of me taken for the pageant and everyone advised my not to undergo this procedure before the shoot.

It turned out that I recovered fully on the next day and had no problems whatsoever, I even travelled abroad on the next day. Literally two days later I was perfectly fine and, in connection to this, imagine what professionalism we are talking about.

Smile is almost everything in a person, and as someone who works in that field, I can say that if a person is not so attractive, they can become attractive with their smile. And if eyes are a window to the soul, a window which we cannot hide, we can at least take care of the teeth.

The thing that really impressed me about them is their workaholism. Usually the people who have reached their level stop working but they keep doing it. They are also a great example for the entire EO Dent team. Another thing which I want to share about the doctors Pavlov is that they are very focused on charity.

For example the clinic for special needs children, very few people would invest their money in such a thing. Also their participation in the Green Ambulance TV show, the Better Quality of Life for Our Parents project, aimed at the elderly, this charity is really uncommon in most people. They literally fulfil the American dream in Bulgaria.

They are the absolute embodiment of the fact that successful business can be done in Bulgaria, mostly because of all their efforts, incredible talent and diligence.

In connection with that, I want to say that there is no need for the young people to go abroad since the doctors Pavlov prove that anything is possible here in Bulgaria. They are unbelievably positive and all smiles, and I personally have never seen Dr. Pavlova frowning, she is such a sun!

Finally, I want to wish the doctors Pavlov and the entire team to keep doing what they are doing because it’s really magnificent!

“The event was glamorous. As the winners from 29 European countries deserve. The ceremony was one of the most awaited ones by the European Commission because it started a long term initiative for recognising and awarding the companies. Not in their usual capacity as providers of high quality services or products or creators of millions of jobs. But as bringers of change, as inspirations and executors of partnership projects in the public sphere. A role which they will play more and more over the next 15 years.”

It’s said that it’s easier to make someone cry than make someone smile…

Over the years, I have realized that both are states which shake the emotions and this is always preferable to expressionless faces full of boredom.

Still, if I can, I would always prefer to make someone smile rather than make them sad.

The dentists at EO DENT do the same but on a much greater scale and with much more realised responsibility – they work diligently so that we can have flawless smiles.

And if they have forgotten it lost in their work and other problems related to their families and the patients, I will remind them that their work is a mission and a calling – to make people more beautiful, more radiant, more self-confident.

That definitely means that along with smiles, they give us happiness… And happiness is more valuable than anything.
